PS It Matters is an online specialty foods, personal and corporate gift store that was founded on a simple idea – you can purchase everyday items you want and help those in our country who are hungry.  PSIM provide you the finest in specialty foods & gifts, at the same price offered in retail stores, and with each purchase 15% of the purchase amount will be donated to the Food Bank/Pantry of your choice. 

 

 

Specialty Foods & Gifts: We hand-select specialty food items and unique gifts from talented regional producers, dealing only with sources who are capable of providing top quality products. We taste-test all of our offerings to assure ourselves that we consistently offer you the best, most interesting foods available. Gift offerings are provided as an example as we encourage you to "build" your own gift creation!

 

Same Prices as your local store: We don’t mark-up the prices of the items we offer; you pay the same retail prices for products you want to buy. By partnering with local Food Banks/Pantries and Corporations around the nation, we almost eliminate marketing costs for doing outreach to potential customers, thus making funds available so we can donate 15% of each purchase to provide needed dollars for meals to those in our communities in need.

Michael Simchik , CEO & Co-Founder

Michael is an experienced developer/investor in commercial properties.  In addition, Mr. Simchik is the Founder, President and Managing Director of Standard Supply International, Ltd., an international distributor of engineered mechanical products utilized in the power generation and/or oil and gas exploration industries.  He is a seasoned investor in start-up ventures including a Founding Director of Centrix Bank & Trust, and has undertaken directorships and assumed principal roles in various not-for-profit entities.  Mr. Simchik holds an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration, as well as a BA from Colgate University.

Under Michael’s leadership there is a dedicated team of professionals committed to making PS It Matters a force in its mission of eliminating hunger in our communities. Warehouse, Sales, Support and Administration are all staffed with individuals who make certain that the PS It Matters customer experience is truly exceptional.
